Two people, one bed, the same 3am problem — for completely different reasons.
It started with my wife and me lying awake at the same time most nights, for reasons that had nothing to do with each other. She was in her late 40s at the time — she's since moved fully into menopause — in the middle of the hormonal shifts of perimenopause: night sweats, leg cramps, wide awake at 3am for no obvious reason. I was 48, and my sleep had started fragmenting too, for a completely different reason: a mind that wouldn't switch off, no matter how tired I was.
Different causes, same shape. Falling asleep was never the problem for either of us — staying asleep was. That's when it became obvious that most sleep products are built entirely around the first twenty minutes, chasing melatonin and "fall asleep faster" claims, and almost nothing is built for the second half of the night, whatever's waking you up in the middle of it.
Sleep Through is what came out of that: magnesium, L-theanine, glycine and electrolytes, formulated for the hours after lights-out rather than the ones before it — for adults 45+ dealing with 3am wake-ups, however they got there.
